XHTML <eXtensible HyperText Markup Language>
XHTML is a reformulation of HTML as XML. As the Internet evolves, programmers are constantly thinking up new ways to express data in markup language. However, since HTML restricts markup code to a defined set of elements, this limits our ability to implement these new ideas. XHTML extends HTML to give programmers many more options, and provides a foundation for the future of web content delivery. This web page conforms to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XHTML 1.0 specification. |
